Connect Work Task to Project Activity

Explanation

This activity is used to connect a work task to an existing project activity. Once connected, planned and reported costs, revenues, hours, and progress will be reported to the activity through the cost elements. To connect a work task to a project activity, go to the Work Task page, Work Task tab on Prepare Work Order page or the Work Tasks page. Search for the relevant work task, click on the Project Connection command, and then select Connect to Activity. Enter the program, project, sub-project, and the relevant activity in the Connect to Activity dialog that opens. If the work task is successfully connected to a project activity, it will be indicated by the Project Connected field on the Work Task/Additional Information page.
