Disconnect Work Task from Project Activity

Explanation

This activity is used to disconnect a work task from a project activity. A work task can only be disconnected if the work tasks do not have any cost lines or invoiceable sales lines. To disconnect the project activity, go to the Work Task page or the Work Tasks page, search for the relevant work task, and click Project Connection. Then, click Disconnect from Activity.

Prerequisites

• IFS/Project must have been installed along with IFS/Work Order.
• A work task must have been manually connected to a project activity.
• The work task must not have any cost lines or invoiceable sales lines.
• The work task must not have any purchase requisitions connected.
• The connected project activity must be in status Planned or Released.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the work task will be disconnected from the project activity, and will not appear as a connection on the Project Monitoring/Activity Monitoring - Project Connections page.
