Define Sub-Tasks
Explanation
This activity is used to define sub-tasks associated with the deferred fault / deferral reference so required
related work is planned and tracked while the fault remains deferred under MEL/OPS restrictions.
Prerequisites
- Deferral reference and/or deferred fault context exists.
- User can create or initiate related tasks for the aircraft/fault.
System Effects
- Sub-tasks are defined/linked so deferred-fault related work is visible on the maintenance due list / work
package planning.
- Supports compliance with MEL/CDL follow-up work beyond automatic follow-on inspections.
