Recieve Response from the Dispatch

Explanation

This activity is used to receive Dispatch confirmation (acceptance, alternate plan, or rejection of the proposed operational restriction) so MOC can proceed with approval/recording of the deferral or escalate (for example to AOG handling).

Prerequisites

• Dispatch was notified of the proposed MEL/OPS restriction.
• MOC is waiting for operational acceptance before finalizing the deferral path.

System Effects

• MOC records the dispatch response as input to approve, reject, or re-evaluate the deferral.
• If dispatch cannot accept the restriction, MOC may select an alternate reference, keep the fault open for repair, or escalate.
• External dispatch acknowledgment may be captured outside ICAM depending on operator integration.
