Maintenance Program Management

Maintenance Program Management is the Aviation Maintenance business process used to define, revise, lock, approve, activate, and apply Asset Maintenance Programs in ICAM. A maintenance program is a collection of requirement and reference document definitions for a particular aircraft or assembly (for example an engine or APU) and operator context. Programs are version-controlled (BUILD / REVISION / ACTV) and, when activated, trigger baseline synchronization to initialize tasks for applicable fleet inventory.

Purpose

Use Maintenance Program Management to create program details, assign requirements (5.34) and reference documents/AD-SB (5.35), evaluate impact, lock and approve changes, activate the program, and apply it to the fleet. Job instruction cards (5.36) are packaged through requirements; blocks (5.39) package requirements separately from program membership.
