This activity is used to connect a CPQ configurator to a source object. A source object could be a Business Opportunity Revision, Sales Quotation, or a Customer Order.
CPQ configurator can be used to create multiple source lines (eg: sales quotation lines), to set the quantity, and to do the CTO configuration based on a configuration done in CPQ. The connection is made by creating a new record in Sales Quotation/CPQ, Customer Order/CPQ, and in the CPQ list in Business Opportunity/Revision. Additionally, you can also use the command Add CPQ Configurator available on Sales Quotation, Customer Order, and Business Opportunity/Revision whichopens an assistant to select desired configurator.
For sales quotations and customer orders, you can select the configfurator from the drop down and save the record. For business opportunity, you must first select the site for which you would like the business opportunity lines created, and then select the configurator.
