Manage Maintenance Contractor Selection Rules from Maintenance Contractor Agreement Lines

Explanation

Use this activity to create, view, or update Maintenance Contractor Selection Rules directly from a Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line on a Maintenance Agreement. 

This allows you to associate specific Maintenance Contractor selection criteria with a Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line, ensuring accurate Maintenance Contractor assignments. You can also link an existing Maintenance Contractor Selection Rule or create a new one directly from a Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line.  

Editing the associated Maintenance Contractor Selection Rule enables you to modify the selection criteria, including static or dynamic rule types, Maintenance Contractor ranking, and acceptance configurations. These rules control how Maintenance Contractor Orders are assigned when the Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line is used to create a Maintenance Contractor Order for a work task.

Prerequisites

A Maintenance Agreement and corresponding Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line must be created. 

System Effects

• The Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line is updated with a reference to the linked Maintenance Contractor Selection Rule. 
•  A new Maintenance Contractor Selection Rule is created if initiated through the Maintenance Contractor Agreement Line. 
• Modifications to the Maintenance Contractor Selection Rule are saved and reflected in Maintenance Contractor assignment processes based on the updated criteria.
