You can create a disposition based on the off log partially when the lot size is more than one, by clicking Create Disposition from Partial Off Log on the Disposition Shop Order page. The command is available only when there are no records on the Disposition Lines tab. An assistant is available to select the required serials to include in the disposition line. The records on the Serial Details tab are populated based on the actual off log. When clicked, disposition lines are created based on the off log. A disposition code is populated when a default disposition code has been set up on the Customer Disposition Codes page or the MRO Disposition Codes page. Otherwise, the disposition line can be saved without a disposition code.
On the Inventory Part page, on the Manufacturing tab, if the real parts are set as Ship Dirty, and on the Complex Assembly Service Contract page, on the Ship Dirty tab, if position parts are set as Ship Dirty, then the Default Ship Dirty Disposition Code field for the customer will be updated accordingly. The relevant data in the off log is also copied to the Serial Details tab.
