Use this activity to configure the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) fields and their associated values to align with your organization's requirements. The configured fields and values can then be included in the My Identity and Inclusion Profile and Person Identity and Inclusion Information pages. The Identity and Inclusion Basic Data page is divided into several tabs that allow you to manage both predefined DEI data and custom DEI field configurations.
The Ethnicity, Religion, and Veteran Status tabs allow you to maintain the values available for the corresponding predefined DEI fields.
Add, edit, or remove values as needed.
Save your changes to make the updated values available to users.
Whether a field is displayed to end users is determined on the Identity and Inclusion Profile Template page.
The Field Configuration tab is used to define custom DEI fields. You can enable up to five custom fields in each of the following sections:
Identity Information
Accessibility
Workplace Preferences
For each custom field:
Specify a meaningful Field Label.
Set Enabled to Yes to make the field available for use.
Expand the field to define the list of selectable values.
Only custom fields that are enabled in the Field Configuration tab can be added to the Identity and Inclusion Profile Template page.
Grant the Person Identity and Inclusion (Access to Person) Access Attribute to roles that require visibility or management capabilities via the HCM Services DEI pages.
Use caution when granting access: these Access Attributes ship as Active by default to ensure access are explicitly and intentionally assigned.
Defining Identity and Inclusion: Basic Data makes the configured DEI fields and values available on the Person Identity and Inclusion Information page. Visibility of these fields on the My Identity and Inclusion Profile page is determined by the templates defined in the Identity and Inclusion Profile Template page.
