The Identity and Inclusion Profile Template allows administrators to define and manage Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) fields that are displayed on the My Identity and Inclusion Profile page for selected groups or individuals. Templates determine which fields are visible across sections such as Identity Information, Accessibility, and Workplace Preferences, and also support the inclusion of a customizable privacy statement.
Templates can be assigned based on citizenship, company, or to specific Persons.
Enter Template ID and Description and save.
Add an appropriate Privacy Statement that informs self‑service users how their identity and inclusion information is handled in accordance with internal policies and applicable laws. This is optional.
Configure field visibility in Template Details:
Enable or disable fields under Identity Information, Accessibility, and Workplace Preferences.
The Gender field sourced from Personal Information is available to be included in templates for reference purposes and will appear as a non-editable field in the My Identity and Inclusion Profile page.
Additional DEI fields will be visible if created and enabled using Field Configuration in the Identity and Inclusion Basic Data page.
Use the Citizenship tab to select the countries for which the template should apply, based on the Citizenship.
Use the Company tab to define the companies to which the template is applicable, allowing further control over template assignment based on organizational structure.
Use the Persons tab to add specific individuals for whom the template applies.
Grant the Person Identity and Inclusion (Access to Person) Access Attribute to roles that require visibility or management capabilities via the HCM Services DEI pages.
Use caution when granting access: these Access Attributes ship as Active by default to ensure access is explicitly and intentionally assigned.
DEI fields must be defined in Identity and Inclusion Basic Data.
Defining an Identity and Inclusion Profile Template determines which DEI fields are visible in the My Identity and Inclusion Profile page for selected regions or Persons.
