Connect Contract to Work Package
Explanation
You can perform maintenance of a particular hangar maintenance work package by connecting a contract that
is agreed upon with a customer, to it.
Also, you can disconnect a contract from a work package. Once you disconnect the contract from a work package,
its customer also will get removed automatically.
Prerequisites
- You need to create a hangar maintenance contract to connect it to a hangar work package. For information
on creating the contract, see
ICAM Documentation.
- The work package must either be in the Active or Committed status, and the
status of the contract should be Active to connect it to a work package.
- You cannot change the contract connected to a work package once the work package is in the In work or
Completed statuses.
- A work package must be in the Committed status to apply the disconnect capabilities.
- Define cutomers from the Application Base Setup/Enterprise/Customer/ page.
Procedure

- Create contract lines within the contract (recommended one line for one group).
- Define part provisioning rules for the contract to specify who supplies the parts for the work for a given
part group, if it is the MRO or the customer.
- Define explicit part provisioning rules for the contract to specify who supplies specific parts for the given
for a given part.
- Define customers.
Info: If required, you can include an alternative customer who follows the same
contract
