Preview Release

Explanation

You can preview the release at any time during the execution of a work package to view a summary of errors and warnings that affect the airworthiness of the aircraft so that you can rectify them to complete the work package or release the aircraft to service.

You view the information on the Preview Release page categorized by the groups below.

Area Description
Summary Displays information about the airworthiness status of the aircraft via the summary badges.
  • Red: Indicates an error. You cannot proceed to complete the work package or release the aircraft to service.
  • Amber: Indicates a warning. You can still proceed to complete the work package and release the aircraft to service.
  • Green: There are no errors or warnings associated with that particular airworthiness aspect or if there are, they are not set to error or warning by your administrator

    Info: These badges are displayed based on the values set by your administrator (ERROR, WARN, or OK) for the parameters below in CAMO.

Mandatory Components Missing Mandatory components that have not been installed.
Note: When there are multiple installation tasks for one missing mandatory component, only the task that was created first will be displayed.
AOG Faults A critical aircraft defect that grounds the aircraft until the issue is resolved and airworthiness is restored.
Configuration Warnings Configuration warnings raised from part removals/installations or both against any work package for the aircraft.
Open Faults Faults that have been raised but not yet resolved, deferred, or closed.
Overdue Faults Overdue faults with the aircraft. Faults are considered overdue if they have exceeded their dues (usage or date).
Near Due Faults Faults nearing their due within the interval defined by your administrator.
Incomplete Tasks In This Work Package Active or in work tasks assigned to the current work package.
Overdue Tasks Overdue tasks against the aircraft. Tasks are considered overdue even when they are assigned to a work package.
Near Due Tasks Tasks nearing their due interval defined by your administrator.
Open Panels In This Work Package Panels that are already opened in the work package.
Outstanding Tools Tools that are not returned to inventory.

Prerequisites

The work package must be in Active, Committed or In Work status.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to IFS Cloud.
  2. Select a work package on the Line Maintenance Work Package Execution or Hangar Maintenance Work Package Execution page.
  3. Select Preview Release.
