Start Work Package

Explanation

Starting a work package starts the maintenance visit. When a work package is started, technicians can start its assignments and tasks.

Technicians can start a task or an assignment without starting the work package. If you start a task or an assignment in the work package, that also starts the work package automatically.

Prerequisites

You need to have the work package planned and published from CAMO.

System Effects

• The status of the work package changes to In Work, and tasks and assignments within the work package can be started.
• Once you start the work package, it gets synchronized in CAMO as well.
