Delete Shop Order WIP Product
Explanation
This activity is used to delete a WIP product from a shop order. A WIP product allows you to trace where
work-in-progress material, produced in a shop order operation, resides in inventory.
To delete a shop order WIP product, delete the relevant line on the WIP Products tab on the
Shop Order page.
Prerequisites
- A WIP product line must exist for the shop order.
- No quantity must have been received for the WIP product.
- The WIP product line must not have a split operation as the To Operation.
System Effects
- The WIP product line is deleted on the specific shop order.
- Shipment lines connected to the WIP product line are deleted.
- If the To Operation has split operations, the corresponding WIP product lines are also
deleted.
