Use this activity to create a simulation profile for a selected site and Material Planning Scenario. A simulation profile allows you to manage supply and demand data for MRP‑planned parts and Master Schedule‑planned parts, enabling controlled and repeatable simulation runs.

The Simulation Profile - MRP Parts page also holds the supply, demand, and planning data of PMRP-planned project parts per project activity, so the same profile serves as the baseline for both MRP simulations and PMRP simulations.
