Repair code routings represent the subset of the machine and labor operations defined in the monolithic repair routing which are relevant to this repair. Monolithic repair routings can be defined for position parts as well as for real parts. Repair code routings follow the same part level as the monolithic routing they are derived from.
When repair codes are connected to a position part routing, the repair source must be Internal Repair Only. Position part repair codes apply to all alternate parts connected to that position.
Repair interim orders and their corresponding supply shop orders are created when disposition shop orders for parts requiring repairs, modifications or discrepancies are approved. For each repair, modification or discrepancy being addressed, the repair routings are used to ascertain the required operations for the relevant repair codes. Enable the Included setting if the monolithic repair routing alternate operation shall be included as an operation for the repair code routing. It is possible to select more than one operation.
If a repair shop order is selected as repair order type for a CRO repair, then the repair routing is used to pull in the required operations for the repair code(s) associated with the service type(s). The list of service types constitute the work scope to be performed for the part on the CRO repair and a service type can be connected to one or several repair codes.
The repair code routing status for a repair code can be changed as follows:

To prevent operation number conflicts during repair shop order creation following disposition approval, use separate operation number sequences for position part repair routings and real part repair routings.
The repair routings cannot be activated unless the monolithic repair routing alternates derived are in the state Buildable.
As a result of this activity, you can define and maintain repair routings.
