Use this activity to create a new work task template based on an existing work order. The work order’s task structure, including planning information, is copied to the new template regardless of its status. Fault-specific information is excluded to ensure the generated template remains reusable across similar maintenance activities. This allows you to reuse well-defined work orders as templates, reducing manual planning effort and promoting consistency and standardization in maintenance planning.
A work order should already exist in the system, and it should contain the work tasks to be used for generating the template.
As a result of this activity, a new work task template is created in the Preliminary state, based on the tasks of the selected work order.
