This activity is used to create a CRM Access Group. A CRM Access Group is a collection of users who can share access to CRM records with one another. CRM Access is based on representatives. The representative assigned to a record automatically receives access according to the privileges defined in the corresponding access filter. When a representative belongs to an access group, that representative can be configured to grant group members access to records they own. The level of access granted depends on the configuration of the access group and the access filters.
The access control only applies to users who are included in one or more access groups. Users who do not belong to an access group are not affected by CRM Access restrictions.
