Create New Quotation

Explanation

This activity is used to create a new Request Quotation via the New Request Quotation page. A request quotation represents an offer for service work that is prepared and managed before any Request is created.

The created Request Quotation can be viewed by either its creator or users in the Access Groups of the Service Organization.

Prerequisites

• A customer should be defined in the Customer page.
• If needed, the Service Organization needs to be defined in Organizational Basic Data.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, request quotation will be created which is in Draft status.
