IFS.ai Copilot for Sales Quotation (functionally referred to as IFS.ai Copilot in Sales Quotation) helps sales coordinators streamline the quotation handling process by delivering Copilot-driven insights and recommendations directly within the Sales Quotation context. Instead of navigating multiple pages or reports to understand why quotations are lost, which competitor products dominate, or which parts have the highest win rates, users can ask Copilot and receive contextual, data-driven answers in seconds - supporting faster, more accurate, and more personalized customer interactions.
This Copilot also supports formless interactions, enabling users to add recommended Sales Parts directly into the currently selected Sales Quotation from within the Copilot panel itself.
IFS.ai Copilot can be used to ask both general questions across IFS Cloud and context-specific questions on supported pages. For an overview of general capabilities by product area, refer to: IFS.ai Copilot for Product Areas. This documentation focuses on the context-specific capabilities available on the Sales Quotation page.
This feature is designed for roles involved in sales quotation handling and customer order management, including: ·
IFS.ai Copilot is available from the Copilot panel in IFS Cloud (the sparkle icon in the top-right of the screen).
IFS.ai Copilot in Sales Quotation is automatically activated when you open the IFS Cloud Copilot on the following page:
Page - Sales Quotation (detail page)
Navigation Path - Sales → Quotation →Sales Quotation
Note: Copilot does not appear on the Sales Quotations (list) page, as this context-specific Copilot is designed to enhance ordering capabilities and formless interactions which are scoped to a single, selected Sales Quotation.
The Sales Quotation page includes predefined prompts to guide users in retrieving sales insights and acting on them. These prompts are integrated with the Sales Quotation page context - when a quotation (and optionally a quotation line) is loaded, Copilot automatically infers the relevant Site, Customer, and Sales Part; otherwise, the user can specify them manually.

A subset of these prompts is enabled for formless interaction, allowing the user to add the suggested Sales Part and quantity directly into the currently selected Sales Quotation from the Copilot panel - without leaving the conversation.
Prompts enabled for formless interaction: ·
When asked to add a part to the selected Sales Quotation, specify the Sales Part and the Quantity. Only the user's accessible Site information is considered.
Formless interactions operate strictly within the context of the currently selected Sales Quotation. Any transactional action (e.g., adding Sales Parts) is performed only on that quotation. However Copilot can modify other quotations if the quotation number is specified.
Non-formless (analytical) interactions can reference and display information across multiple Sales Quotations, Sites, and Customers, subject to the user's access rights.
This design keeps transactional updates context-safe while allowing analytical queries to leverage broader data access for richer insights.
To get the best results when entering prompts manually:
Copilot responses are based on available data and your permissions — you may not see results you do not have access to.
Responses should be verified before acting on them; AI-generated responses can occasionally be incorrect.
Complex queries may produce incomplete or unexpected results.
Context-specific prompts are tested for the Sales Quotation page only — results may vary for other types of questions.
Follow-up questions are supported to refine, expand, or drill down beyond the top 5 results.
Formless actions affect only the currently selected Sales Quotation — Copilot will not act on other quotations.
Typical response time is within 30 seconds, varying by query complexity and system load. Conversations are session-limited (~2 hours) and are not persistently stored in IFS Cloud.
