Production planning and control application

As the hangar aircraft maintenance visit approaches, you organize the project in a production plan. You assess whether you have capacity shortages, or excess capacity during the project, reschedule tasks to shorten the critical path, and more. As you refine your production plan, the Production Planner application (PP&C) updates the sequence of tasks to comply with the dependencies and the date constraints you set.

When the visit is in progress, technicians can record the work they do on tasks in Maintenix, or technical records personnel can enter that information in Maintenix on behalf of technicians, and you can refresh the production plan with the latest data in Maintenix. With an up-to-date production plan, you monitor the critical path and detect any capacity issues, and make adjustments to the plan as necessary.

Also, you can create reusable production templates for maintenance visits that you perform regularly. You apply the appropriate template to maintenance visits to quickly create production plans that are organized based on the template.
