Performance Improvements¶

Linked Activity Improvements¶

Changes have been made to the Dynamic Scheduling Engine to improve the scheduling of chains of linked activities. Activities chained together this way are a common occurrence in manufacturing scenarios, so these enhancements should improve the performance for manufacturing scheduling.

Performance Comparison¶

The general scheduling performance of the 6.11 version has been measured and verified against the 6.10 version. Cyclic scheduling performance was also remeasured and has improved since the 6.7 version. Benchmarking results are included in an appendix to the Architecture and Sizing Guide.
