Appendix: Time Zones¶

The Resource Planner is designed to handle resources working across multiple time zones.

In the data management screens it is possible to associate a time zone with both resources and divisions.

When planning resources into divisions, the time zone to use will be determined in the following order of precedence:

1. The division time zone will be used if specified.
2. If there is no division time zone then the resource time zone will be used.
3. If there is no division or resource time zone specified then the current Workbench time zone will be used.

The current Workbench time zone can be altered via the user options in the top-right hand corner of the Workbench.
