Remote Deployment Guide¶
Only applicable for customers running remote deployment models, this guide explains how to install and operate IFS Cloud. (For customers running the cloud deployment model, installation and operations are handed by IFS as part of the service). This guide covers how to prepare underlying infrastructure (e.g. the database), perform fresh install, updating (installing deliveries), and upgrading from versions prior to IFS Cloud.
Creating and applying deliveries is described in IFS Lifecycle Experience Guide.
The installation guide does not cover areas such as setting up replication, archiving, message routing, reports, printers, report formatters, print agents etc. You will find documentation on such topics in the administration and configuration guides.
