Set up a User as an Administrator¶
To administrate over information related to Mobile Maintenance for Aviation such as basic and operational data, create and manage mobile maintenance users, perform configuration tasks for Mobile Maintenance, an administrator for Mobile Maintenance for Aviation, can be set up using the steps below:
- Log in to IFS Cloud Web as the application owner.
- If you wish to create a new end user for the admin user, navigate to the User page located in the Solution Manager folder and create your new user. Note: If you create a new user in IFS Cloud, you must set up the appropriate organizational data for the new user in Maintenix. To assign an existing user as an administrator, on the User page, search for the user. For more information see Users.
- On the record submenu, click User Permissions.
- Click Grant Permission Sets and filter the displayed permission sets to find the permission set by name, MM_ADMINISTRATOR. For more information, see Permission Sets.
- Click OK.
