Set up a User as a Line Planner

To set up a user as a line planner to load a work package or view details of a work package published from Maintenix, using the Mobile Maintenance for Aviation web application, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to IFS Cloud Web as the IFS Application owner.
  2. If you wish to create a new end user to work as a line planner, navigate to the User page located in the Solution Manager folder and create the user. Note: If you create a new user in IFS Cloud, you must set up the appropriate organizational data for the new user in Maintenix. To assign an existing user as a line planner, on the User page, search for the user.
  3. On the record submenu of the User page, click User Permissions.
  4. Click Grant Permission Sets and filter the displayed permission sets to find the permission set by name, MM_LINE_PLANNER. For more information, see Permission Sets.
  5. Click OK.
