Session and Token administration per IAM Client

IFS IAM allows you to configure overrides at the client level for session and token timeouts. By default, all IAM Clients get the same session and token timeouts as global settings (Inherits from global settings). If you need to change the timeouts only for specific integrations, you can change the relevant IAM Client timeouts without affecting global settings.

You cannot change the IFS_Aurena client or clients with offline access enabled.

This action will only be available to users with the AUTH_ADMINISTRATOR system privilege.

Changing Session and token timeouts for an IAM Client.

  • Navigate to the IAM Client Detail page and select the wanted IAM Client.
  • Select the Edit Sessions and Tokens command.

  • Select ‘Expires in’ from the dropdown. Then, you can set the value you want.

  • Once it is changed, a new command will appear as Set To Default. This will help you easily switch back to the default values as set in Global Settings.
