Set up a User as a Line Planner¶
To set up a user as a line planner to load a work package or view details of a work package published from Maintenix, using the Mobile Maintenance for Aviation web application, follow the steps below:
- Log in to IFS Cloud Web as the IFS Application owner.
- If you wish to create a new end user to work as a line planner, navigate to the User page located in the Solution Manager folder and create the user. Note: If you create a new user in IFS Cloud, you must set up the appropriate organizational data for the new user in Maintenix. To assign an existing user as a line planner, on the User page, search for the user.
- On the record submenu of the User page, click User Permissions.
- Click Grant Permission Sets and filter the displayed permission sets to find the permission set by name, MM_LINE_PLANNER. For more information, see Permission Sets.
- Click OK.
