Grant Permissions to Override an Aircraft Release Hard Stop¶
To allow a user role to override a hard stop preventing aircraft release due to missing mandatory components, overdue tasks, and overdue faults, an administrator must create a permission set that includes the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set and assign it to users.
To create a permission set with the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set:
- Log in to the IFS Cloud as an administrator.
- Navigate to Solution Manager/Users and Permissions/Permission Sets/Permission Set.
- Click New (+ icon).
- For Permission Set, enter the permission set name and enter a Description.
- Click Save.
- Click Show more and click Grant Structure.
- Under Granted Permission Sets, click Add, select MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP and click OK.
Note: You can also grant the MM_OVERRIDE_HARD_STOP permission set to individual users from the Solution Manager/Users and Permissions/Users/User page.
