System Installed Workflows
System Installed Workflows¶
There are two types of Workflows. They are Custom and System. Custom Workflows are Workflows that end user manually deploys via Workflow Manager while System Workflows are added to the application automatically via the IFS Cloud Installer.
There are two sources of System Workflows. One is the Workflows available in BPMN folder of the IFS components. The other one is importing Workflows in the Application Configuration Package (ACP) via the IFS Cloud Installer.
You could use Workflow Management Page in IFS Cloud to see the Workflows information such as deployment status, version information, Workflow type, etc. However, if the Workflow deployment failed during the IFS Cloud Installer run, those Workflows are not visible in this page. Therefore "System Installed Workflows" page is added into IFS cloud to see the deployment status and cause for deployment failure of the System Workflows.
System Installed Workflows Page¶
This page displays the list of all the System Workflows. Only BPA admin users have the privilege to view this page.
Column Name | Description |
---|---|
From ACP | “From ACP” field indicates that the Workflow has been added to the application via an ACP file or not |
State | If the deployment of a Workflow fails, the "State" is shown as "Failed". Otherwise, it is shown as "Deployed". |
Error Log | This field displays the cause of the deployment failure. |
Redeploy Failed Workflows
If you select a failed Workflow record, the Deploy button becomes visible, allowing you to redeploy the Workflow as a System Workflow. However, it is important to correct the mentioned error before deploying the Workflow. This function helps to recover the Workflows that were not deployed successfully by the IFS Cloud Installer.
Note: To make the Deploy button appear, choose one Workflow at a time. Selecting two or more Workflows simultaneously is not allowed.
