Predefined Parameters

Query Parameters are fundamental components in Access Control Lists (ACLs), serving to enforce Data Access Control Restrictions. IFS provides predefined Predicates to simplify the creation of ACLs.

There are two primary categories of predefined parameters that can be used in a predicate: Reference parameters and Common Parameters.

Reference predicates are tailored specifically for use with Reference Entities or Entity Attributes, ensuring precise control in those contexts. In contrast, common predicates aren’t bound to any reference and can be used in any ACL, providing a versatile approach to access control.
