Post Upgrade Warehouse Data Collection Configuration Status Setup¶
During release updates, there can be changes to Wadaco processes. These changes fall into two categories: Major and Minor.
If there are Major changes to the process, all Released configurations of that process will be moved to the Editable state.
Definition of Major Changes¶
The following actions represent Major changes to a process:
- Adding data items
- Modifying data items
- Removing data items
- Adding control items
- Modifying control items
- Removing control items
Only when one or more of these Major changes are made during an update, the configurations will be moved to the Editable state. When this happens, there will be an indicator called Status Changed by Update, which keeps track of configurations that were moved to the Editable state and is available on both the Data Collection Configuration page and the Data Collection Configurations page.
When Configurations Have Been Moved to Editable State During an Update¶
Step 1:
Go to the Data Collection Configuration page and filter the configurations where the Status Changed by Update flag is set to YES.
Step 2:
Make the necessary changes to the configuration to align it with the changes made during the update.
Step 3:
Release the reviewed configurations. This can be done either on the Data Collection Configuration page or in bulk on the Data Collection Configurations page.
