About Federated Search

Federated search enables users to search data from within Windows Explorer. IFS Application make the data sources searchable with a simple web front end that exposes their search capabilities.

Requirements

• Clients - Windows7 or higher Operating System
• Server Configuration - Windows Integrated Authentication (Single Sign On)

Configuration

• Windows Integrated Authentication - If windows integrated authentication is selected during the installation process, Federated Search is automatically enabled for the installed environment.
