Broadcast Messaging is a service for sending information to all IFS Application users during a specified time interval. Messages are managed in the Broadcast Messages form in the Administration folder in Solution Manager. The message is shown for all IFS Application users when current time on the application server database is between the effective from and expires on time interval.
The Broadcast Messages notification banner will be shown after logon if there are active broadcast messages. This will be displayed on top of the application in order to be clearly visible but not interfering with the end users current work.
If a message has a valid link provided and user clicks on the "More info." it will open in an external application.
