Ad hoc Reporting typically allows end users to easily build their own reports and modify existing ones with little to no training. Ad hoc reporting generates reports that meet individual information requirements quickly and easily, allowing end users to dynamically modify and drill through report data for powerful information analysis. This type of flexibility frees up valuable IT resources and gets information to end users immediately, empowering them to interact with the data. IFS Application's Ad hoc reporting solution is called Quick Reports. For simple grid type list reports we have SQL Statement quick reports and for more elaborate and designed reports Crystal Reports can be used.
Within this concept we also include the Query Builder that lets you design and run simple queries without knowing SQL or the underlying relational data. With this tool you can search for data and add to your query. It is also simple to preview the data and you can publish your reports as normal Quick Reports in the end.
