Dashboards

Dashboards can be used as an effective method to monitor organizational behavior in aspects such as financials, customer satisfaction, internal processes etc. They can be configured to give timely and relevant information across the organization in a concise manner depending on different user needs. Dashboards normally consist of a variety of visual effects like gauges, indicators, charts, etc. which enhances visibility of certain critical information and key performance indicators.

Within IFS Business Reporting & Analysis, External Report Integration, users belonging to the Report Viewer user group can view and use already created dashboards in Business Reporting & Analysis/Published Content/Dashboards. Users that belong to the Report Publisher user group can create dashboards using many visualization features that are available in the Report Builder. Dashboard reports created via the Report Builder can be made interactive using its different features such as Drill-Through. The dashboards can then be published in IFS Applications and can be made available to the target users.

External Report Integration also provides the possibility to connect other web based dashboards (such as Microsoft Excel dashboards) with IFS Applications.
