Deploy IFS Applications Middle Tier

  1. Start Installing IFS Middleware Server
  2. Start the Installer
  3. Startup Main
  4. Verify Locations
  5. Select Optional Components to Install
  6. Manage Application Server Instance

    Use the following settings:

    1. Create new: selected
    2. Instance Name: Enter a new name
    3. Description: Describe the purpose of this installation.
  7. Configure Database Connection
  8. Enter Passwords for the Internal System Users
  9. Database Import and Deploy

    Note: Select all options for this installation. This is mandatory when you create the first instance for this solution.

  10. Configure Connection Pool for PL/SQL Access
  11. Client Configuration
  12. Client Signing

    Note: This page will only appear on Windows installations.

  14. Application Server Configuration
  15. Configure Connection Pools for Data Sources
