Installation Step introduction

Once the Base Server Component has been deployed into the Database Instance, a set of parameters controlling the behavior of Foundation1 functionality needs to be inspected and changed.

Some runtime configurations are related only to the internals of the IFS Applications installation and are configured running as Appowner. Others, such as system wide archiving, are configured running as SYS.

Services that a system administrator at a customer installation may add at later stages are described in the Administration Guide. Examples of such services are:
