This document describes how to set up Asset Information Integration Manager (AIIM) and how to prepare your system to support a successful installation.
The AIIM client has one system parameter you can tune from the Tools -> Options dialog:
Max Records
This parameter defines how many records of business objects that are sent from the database to the client during an export, or from the client to the database during an import. The value is saved between sessions in the file server.xml located on the client directory where the AIIM executable is installed. It is possible to set this parameter between 10 and 1000. The default value is 200. Increasing the value will improve performance but increases the extended server work load. This can cause timeout problems on smaller servers or clients.
This document describes pre defined roles, activities and system privileges
needed for this component. Each script contains only objects handled by this
component and may need to be further developed or combined with roles defined in
other components to work properly, according to the need of the customer
installation.
Security_Aiim_User.ins
This script create a 'Aiim_User' role and adds a permission set to it. The
permission set includes activities from the Asset Integration Information
Management and Plant design components.
