Page: Create Build Structure And Compile
In the Create Build Structure And Compile page you can define what
should be included in the build process.
Fields
- Components Folder: If Components, LNG_Components or
UPD_Components folder exist
in your <workspace> the path will be
automatically set.
- Build Destination: The path to the location where you will
create your <build_home> e.g. <workspace>\build_home.
- Select Component to build: List of
components found in the defined Components Folder.
- Select Build Options: List of
subfolders in the selected components in Select Components to build.
- Select Languages: List of
languages in the selected components in Select Components to build (server
folder should be included in Select Build Options).
- Compile Options: Define if Java and/or C# compilation
should be started by IFS Configuration Builder when build process is ready.
(To be able to compile Java and C#, IFS Base Functionality (fndbas) must be
included in the build or already built to build destination.)
Operations
- Components Folder: Select the input to the build process, either
by selecting Components or LNG_Components from dropdown (if exist) or
use Browse to select another component structure as input
to the build process (See How to Build Manually)
- Build Destination: Use browse button to create and select your <build_home> e.g. <workspace>\build_home.
- Select Component to build: Select the components that should be
included in the build process. (Read more about Filter in
How to Build in General)
- Select Build Options: Select the build options that should be
included in the build process.
- Select Languages: Select the languages that should be included
in the build process. The Client column for each included
language can be selected. When not selected, the specific language will not
be generated for client runtime although the translations will be installed
to the
<build_home>. (Read more about Filter in
How to Build in General)
- Compile Options: Select if Java and/or C# compilation should be
started when build process is ready.
- When Error: Define if the process should stop if an error occur,
or continue and write the error in log file.
- Build: Click Build to start the build process.
- Current workspace: Link to your current workspace and
information of when last modified.
