Run initial synchronization

When the configuration is created and tested it is time to perform the initial synchronization. In this step user accounts are created and committed. Depending on if users already exist in the user registry or not, it can take quite some time to perform the initial synchronization. Consider doing this on a time when the load on the system is low.

Initial/manual synchronization is not necessary but it is a way of verifying that all settings are correct before scheduling the synchronization as a background job.

Actions

Navigate to Solution Manager / Security / Users / Active Directory User Integration Configuration

  1. Find and open the configuration.
  2. Click on "Run synchronization".
  3. All synchronized users will be found in the configured user group (Solution Manager / Administration / Users / User Groups).
