Permission Sets is the base for administrating authorities in IFS Applications. A Permission Set is a set of permissions which you can grant to users to give them the authority to perform tasks like view or update certain information. There are different types of permissions like access to Database Objects, Activities, Services or System Privileges.
Note: A Permission Set is also referred to as an FndRole.

The Security Administration form is the starting point for security administration. The most common tasks are available as short links on this page for example Create Permission Set and Grant Permission Set to Users.
From this start page you can easily find and navigate to existing Permission Sets. Type the initial letters of the Permission Set you wish to find in the "Find Permission Set" field followed by ctrl-K. Once the Permission Set is shown in the field click the navigate button to the right and the Permission Set including detail information is shown in the Permission Set form.
