Performance

Communication between IFS and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is limited due to the low level of integration. It is recommended to present your reports and analyses within IFS Enterprise Explorer. The processing will be carried out entirely on the SQL server. Data is stored in an OLAP cube and the processing is handled by the SSRS process.

Performance should mainly be considered in two situations.

1. Cubes and reports should be simple. Creating large cubes can result in the slow presentation of reports.
2. Ensure that you create effective queries.
