Replication

IFS Data Migration can be used in replication of data. Depending on the final destination of the data, Replication can be broken in to two.

Internal Replication can be configured to replicate data between Sites and Companies in the same IFS Applications instance. Replication can be automatic - data is replicated to other sites/companies whenever data is changed in the master site/company or at can be manual. Manual replication can be used to synchronize new Sites/Companies with a master Site/Company.

External Replication (Replication Structure) can be used to configure replication of data from IFS Applications, in XML format, to other applications or systems. Data can be collected from several Logical Units that has some relationship to each other. Data can be replicated manually, scheduled or automatic. Messages created by the data migration processes will be entered into an Extended Server queue and all functionality of Extended Server can then be applied to the messages.
