Create Migration Jobs

Data Migration is designed to support data import, either from file or another database source into IFS Application.. You may also export data from Foundation views to file. The main services are :

• Write data from IFS to file
• Read data from file and insert into IFS
• Read data from file and create a table in IFS
• Read data from a database table/view and insert into IFS

 To be able to benefit from these services, you must define individual Migration entries (jobs) for each task you want to perform.

Start with Migration Job to set up your job. You will find an online documentation available for most windows and activities, and the client will respond to your choice of procedure name, making relevant columns/folders available for you.
