The global configuration file is stored at the path:
ifs.home/instance/<instance.name>/conf/odata-provider-logging.xml
Also refer to Figure 1 for an overview of the directory for the global configuration file.

The local configuration file Log4j2.xmlis located in the class path of the web module. See Figure 2.
This file acts as a fallback configuration, if the global configuration is not provided. Since this file is located in the web module, it is not possible to reconfigure it at runtime.
