Const.PM_DataItemLovUserProperties

The framework sends the Const.PM_DataItemLovUserProperties message to a data item in order to retrieve the meta data about its LOV view properties.

Parameters

wParam	Unused
lParam	The name of the view for which the LOV is about to be opened.

Comments

This is a low-level method for the LOV dialog which should be avoided, always letting the framework provide and use the standard meta data that is generated for each view.
The reason this message is exposed is to support some few clients where the design was not possible to change without having to redesign the database model and logic.

Returns

A tab separated string containing the following meta data, attributes, about the view:

Key Names (comma separated list)
Column Names (comma separated list)
Columne Prompts (^ separated list)
Column Types (^ separated list)
Column References (^ separated list)
Column DB Names (^ separated list)
Sorting Information (^ separated list)
