Report Design

When using Report Builder to create your ad hoc reports, dashboards and published reports based on information from IFS Applications, you need to have the knowledge of using the Report Builder tool as well as an understanding of how to use information from IFS Applications. Following examples will guide you through creation of reports using the Report Builder tool with information from IFS Applications.

The dataset used for the following examples can be created from a cube as described in Data sources and Datasets section. Company 900 in IFS Race database will be used in the examples. Balance is used as the measure item. The dimensions used are Company, Accounting Period, and three code parts in IFS databases (Account, Code B – Cost Center, Code D – Business Unit).
