Analyzing Model Dependencies

Use the RMB menu option Dependency Analyzer on any model file to view its dependency tree.

The dependency tree is determined based on the primary code generation layer of the selected model.

For example, a serverpackage model's dependency tree will show all dependent models required to generate Middle-Tier (i.e. Service layer) code since the primary code generation layer for serverpackage models is the Middle-Tier layer.



The dependency tree for a given model will be shown in the Dependency Analyzer window.The component that each dependent model belongs to is given within square brackets.

Note:   Dependent models that do not exist in the local workspace will be marked in red.
