ICAM for Build Studio: Recreate Build Home

Based on the ICAM customization types, two types of Build Homes will be created:

  1. Standard Build Home: If you are a customer who has purchased ICAM by enabling it in the Solution Set File, you are provided with a Standard Build Home without ICAM customizations.

  2. Customized Build Home: If you are customer who has enabled the ICAM feature in the Build Place, you can apply additional customizations on top of the Standard Build Home. All of these ICAM-related customizations will be added to your customer solution repository. These customizations will then be picked up by the build and appear in the Build Home.

ICAM related customizations:

  • IFS Cloud Component Customizations

    These are added to the customer solution repository in the Build Place and involve changes to IFS Cloud components.

  • Maintenix Customizations

    These refer to customization metadata stored in the customer solution repository in the Build Place, specifically for Maintenix.

There is no change to the procedure a user should be taking when recreating Build Home, but if you have an ICAM customized Build Place, those customizations will be picked up by the build and those will be available in the Upgrade Build Home option.
